IoT Off-Grid is a company that was founded in the wake of the Decentralized Wireless (DeWi) movement in 2020. With the emergence of large area networks such as the Helium LoraWAN network, which made it possible for Internet of Things (IoT) devices to become more widespread, the co-founders of IoT Off-Grid saw the need for robust hardware solutions that could easily be deployed for public use. This led to the development of the world’s first commercially available off-grid system for the Helium network, which allows for the deployment of LoraWAN nodes in remote locations. We have also expanded our research and development (R&D) profile by developing Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) solutions, RF antennas, and integrated solutions to provide all the necessary components for establishing reliable LoraWAN networks.
IoT Off-Grid is a uniquely established company based in the United States, and we conduct the majority of our development and product manufacturing in New Jersey. This allows us to provide our clients with high-quality products that have been developed through world-class R&D at a rapid pace. We are known in the industry for our customizable solutions, which we develop based on client requests.
As our community contribution, we are developing OpenTrak with the grant contribution from the Helium Foundation.
